São galhos e raízes que invadem graus, janelas, portas e paredes, como se houvesse uma respostas da natureza à ação do homem, uma espécie de protesto silencioso pela liberdade e pela vida. Imagens capturada na fachada de uma casa em Lisboa, Portugal.
I work from a research occupation records of urban architecture by vegetation.
They are branches and roots that invade railings, windows, doors and walls, as if there was an answer of nature to the action of man, a kind of silent protest for freedom and life.

Interfiro na paisagem da cidade com uma performance onde me proponho a quebrar a rotina cotidiana, espalhando e fixando em pontos estratégicos balões transparentes com os dizeres - ALTERE SUA ROTA - em bilhete colocado em seu interior.
A ação pretende pegar de sobressalto os indivíduos em sua rotina diária e sugerir um desvio no seu trajeto, desafiando as pessoas a estourar os balões e ler os bilhetes, caracterizando assim, a primeira etapa da ação.
I interfere in the city landscape with a performance where I propose to break the daily routine, spreading and fixing in strategic points transparent balloons with the words -- ALTER YOUR ROUTE- with a ticket placed inside.
The action intends to take by surprise the people in their daily routine and suggest a detour in their path, challenging people to pop the balloons and read the tickets, thus characterizing, the first stage of the action.

Em imagens gravadas num fim de tarde no litoral paulista, o silêncio convida a um passeio, o olhar .
Diante da imensidão do mar, e seu murmúrio constante, o olhar se perde entre as formas em movimento.
O silêncio abraaça as formas e as cores e deixa o pensamento livre para voar.
The sun, the sea, the sand... And the silence.
This images were taken on a late afternoon in the coastline of São Paulo, the silence invites to a trip, the look.
In the presence of the immensity of the sea, its constant murmur, the look is lost between shapes in movement.
The silence holds the shapes and colors and leave the thought free to fly.

A cada ano, no segundo domingo de outubro, a cidade de Belém no Pará chega a receber até dois milhões de pessoas.
O motivo é a Fé.
Em uma das maiores manifestações religiosas do mundo, o Círio de Nossa Senhora de Nazaré, a multidão se aglomera ao som de cânticos e rezas, que muitas vezes são mesclados com sons regionais como o forró. Entre vendedores, policiais, jovens e idosos, o ícone que todos idolatram passa por cima de mãos e cabeças.
As pessoas tentam esquecer o calor e o incômodo de sentirem-se espremidos pelos outros corpos e seguem com a procissão até o fim. Seja para realizar um desejo, seja para pagar promessas. Seja simplesmente pelo fato de ser um dos eventos que move a todos na cidade. Do alto, as pessoas se fundem em uma massa homogênea, como um rio que segue seu fluxo para desembocar no mar.
Every year, on the second Sunday of October, the city of Belém in the state of Pará receives up to two millions people.
The reason is the Faith.
In one of the biggest religious manifestation of the world, the Candle of Lady Nazareth, the crow stick together with the sound of the chants and prays, that many times are mixed with the regional songs like “forró”. Among sellers, policemen, young and old, the icon that everybody worship passes by hands and heads.
People try to forget the heat and the discomfort of feeling squeezed by other bodies and follow the procession until the end even to get a wish or to pay promises. Only by the fact that is one of the events that move everybody in the city. From the top, people are fused by a homogeneous mass, as a river that follows its path culminating in the sea.

With images taken on a Sunday in the park, the artist takes us back to childhood through images and sounds.
The narrative is made with overlapping images and typical sounds of our dreams, making us going deep into our memories of landscapes that have passed.

It was recorded in South of Minas Gerais, this video presented scenes taken in an old building that is the headquarter of a farm that products coffee.
The images show in a poetic way a rainy afternoon fall, a melancholic landscape that send us to the history of art where the painters with their palette at hand captured faithfully the images of the surroundings.

Um rio que separa duas cidades, um rio entre duas ruas. O Rio reflete o movimento e as cores, de um lugar quase esquecido.

On a hot night in the waterfront of the Paraguaçu river, I feel the fresh breeze that comes with the night sounds across the river.
In a mixture of voices, grunts and chirps, reggae, motorcycle and automobile, one city dates another. A river divides two cities, one river between two streets. The river reflects the movement and colors, in a place almost forgotten.

Cenas obtidas numa comunidade que vive sobre as águas do rio Negro em um Igarapé em Manaus. Casas construídas sobre enormes troncos de àrvores, flutuam na superfície do rio, que ocila entre as altas e baixas durante o ano. Ali tudo, como a vida, flutua; a escola, a igreja, o mercado, as casas, as hortas e os pomares. Todos separados e unidos pela água.
These scenes were taken in a community that lives on the Negro river's water in a streams in Manaus.
Houses were built on gigantic tree trunk, that float on the surface of the river, that changes between flood and low during the year.
There everything, as life, float; the school, the church, the grocery, the houses, the vegetable gardens and orchards.
All separate and united by water.

Using the self-image, the artist turns time into testimony of life through many pictures obtained from old documents.
Each picture shows a period of time, and in this sequence the signs absorbed during 35 years can be observed in ten pictures.

Trata-se da relação dentro e fora, trabalhada pela artista plástica Angella Conte, onde ela inverte as situações; uma, em que mostra ações intimistas que ocorrem na rua, e outra, em que exibe ações urbanas protagonizadas dentro de um antigo casarão abandonado.
The project was developed in Manorhamilton, Ireland. It is a relation inside and outside, made by visual artist Angella Conte, where she inverted the situations: one, shows intimacy actions that happen on the street, and the other shows urban actions indide an old abandoned house.

Tudo tão parado e tão mexido. Calor intenso e úmido, silêncio e tensão, sensação de inúmeros olhos me observando, ora amedronta ora cega tamanha beleza.
Imagens obtidas na floresta Amazônica, sua vegetacão, o solo, a luz que entra por entre as folhas, as raízes que se enroscam, as árvores que buscam a luz e com suas sombras protegem sementes, abrigam animais, se impõem e se sustentam.
Respiram o ar da incerteza.
Images of forest that one day was intact, images of forest that slowly is being lost, images the forest that is hanging by a tread. In its stem still runs the sap, there is still life, still beating..........
Everything so still and so mixed. Intense heat and wet, silence and tension, sensation of plenty of eyes observing me, sometimes scares sometimes blind such beauty.
Images taken in the Amazon forest, its vegetation, the soil, the light that comes between the leaves, the roots that twist, the trees that seeking the light and with its shadows protect the seeds, shelter animals, imposes themselves and maintain.
